For the first week of authorship we traveled to Gloucester to a car boot sale , where we did some life drawing where we observed how people communicate through body language and gesture.

we were instructed that while at the car boot we bought something that relates to your own illustration subject interest, i chose to buy a pack of old playing cards as I like to collect them , particularly older ones as the designs and patterns on the back of them really inspire me as pattern and texture features in my work a lot this year .
